U16 CVL win against Hampton

On May 9th 2010, the U16's development team won their first "proper" game, and we say that because any game they'd won before was always due to a forfeit. This has been the first year for London Pioneers U16's CVL and looking back on the season it had it's classic trials and tribulations.... Player's coming and leaving, losing games, being at training every Saturday for the marathon session (9am - 1pm) and of course a sweet victory against Hampton Jaguar (48-19). This season would be considered very successful, developing over 30 players, 8 moving to our national league teams next season, which they have already started training. We believe it's important to continue this program as it allows beginners between 13-16 year old to come learn the fundamentals of the game and develop their skills with an excellent coaching regime, real game experience, life long lessons and good memories.
